We all have one – that song that transports us to a distant time and place.

During Public Radio Music Month, Maine Public Broadcasting (MPBN) is asking its listeners to share those songs and music memories with Music That Moves ME, a series of audio diaries that explores how music has influenced us personally. Every day this month, MPBN’s Morning classical host, Suzanne Nance, broadcasts a new diary entry on the air.

So far, the response has been huge. The community has shared stories about personal music moments that are touching, sad, uplifting, and even humorous, highlighting not only how meaningful music can be, but also how local public radio stations like MPBN can bring people together around a common passion.

Listen to the full series on MPBN’s website.
