NPR Music has rounded up its top 10 favorite public radio sessions of all time in a YouTube playlist for Public Radio Music Month, featuring public radio darlings like Gary Clark Jr., Regina Spektor, Michael Kiwanuka, Lake Street Dive (featured) and more. Stream the full playlist here.

There might be nothing more “public radio music” than the in-studio performance. Every year, stations host over 7500 such studio sessions. They give local artists a platform for their music to be heard, as well as introduce listeners to emerging and big name artists with an intimate, live performance captured on air and online.

Do you have a favorite in-studio session from your local station? Share it with us in the comments below!
