At KEXP‘s SXSW showcase last month, it was clear that Seattle-based band Telekinesis was in familiar territory playing for a public radio crowd. Front man Michael Benjamin Lerner was in his element, cracking jokes with the station staff between tracks and reminiscing about the surly Seattle weather. Before the set, we were able to nab a shot with the band showing their support for public radio.
Telekinesis releases their third album, Dormarion, today with Merge Records.
